Let us pick you up at your hotel and take you along the North coast of the island, passing the beautiful built up areas and enjoying the views of the mountains. The Green Grotto Cave is situated between two towns, the Discovery Bay and Runaway Bay towns. This cave was used by the Island's first inhabitants, the Tia- no's, for shelter. It was named as a result of the green algae growing on its walls. You'll descend into the Green Grotto, which is 1,525 m (5,000 ft) long and 12 m (40 ft) deep. It covers an enormous area (26 hectares/65 acres), which hosts numerous rock formations, stalactites and stalagmites, numerous chambers and light holes, and a breathtaking lake deep inside the cave. Discover the rich history of the caves, as well able guides give you the fascinating history of the cave. You will definitely enjoy exploring the underground wonderland and forming memories that will forever be etched into your mind. This tour will last for approximately 1 hour. The tour goes in the sequence of the Green Grotto Cave, then to Dunn's River Falls with free time being offered between tours. Let us then take you to the renowned Dunn's River falls. Enjoy the thrill of climbing the 600 ft falls. It's an experience like none other or second to none. Swim in the salty seawater or freshwater at the foot of the falls. This activity lasts approximately 3 hours. You are offered snacks at no extra cost. After you have taken it all in, then it is time to make your way back to your hotel. It's a lifetime experience to share with friends and loved ones. You may then take the option of enjoying lunch in the town of Ocho Rios (not included) or be taken back to your hotel. Expected arrival time to your hotel is between 4 and 5 PM.
